As unusual, we have been holding our meetings online using Zoom. All members who have email addresses listed with the club have been sent these meeting notices. At this time, I know of only one member who chooses to not use email and, of course, who has not received these email notices.
Remember that we are only doing two meetings per month during the Covid-19 situation. We have our board meeting on the 3rd Monday Board Meeting and our regular 4th Monday meeting so that we can advise members who did not attend our board meeting what transpired during the board meeting. All members are welcome to our board meetings.
The December board meeting will be on the 14th and we will not have our regular dinner meeting.
I want to offer a special thanks to the members who assisted with our November Tri-Tip Dinner Drive-Thru. It was very successful. Thanks for working the event as well as buying a dinner for your family. Thanks to Lions Taka, Brad, Jack, Anthony, Bob S., Dan, Warren, Lynden, Jason, Bob B., Andy, Charlie, Don, Bill H., Stan, Dennis, John Jr., and Jey. Also a special thanks to Lorene, Dave King, Patty, Jonnie and Valerie.
Another special thank you to the members who assisted with the Elk Grove Food Bank Services annual Thanksgiving Dinner Box distribution. Our Lions managed the huge crowd of over 700 people who lined up to get their dinner box. Our traffic control managed to keep the traffic off of East Stockton Blvd and keep everything moving. Thanks to Lions Andy, taka, Bob H, Bob B, Brad, Marv, Anthony, Dan, John Jr., Jason and Jack.
I continue to be so very proud to be a part of such a great community minded organization, the Elk Grove Lions Club.

Lion Joe Tallerico has been undergoing chemo treatments on Mondays. Unfortunately, we Joe lost his battle with Cancer on December 3rd. We have lost a friend and a valuable member of our club. Our condolences go out to his wife, Lynda, during this difficult time.
